The Ikarian Blooming Handmade Soaps & Cosmetics workshop is a member of the social cooperative enterprise (SOE) “Institute of Mediterranean Culture” which was founded in 2019, with the aim of sustainable development through various activities, one of which is the production, promotion and preservation of the productive heritage of each place, and at the same time fair and solidarity trade.
Our workshop is dedicated to the creation of natural, handmade soaps and cosmetics, inspired by the gifts of nature and the tradition of our island, an island known for its longevity, the simplicity of its lifestyle, and the gentle exploitation of its natural resources.
With an emphasis on natural beauty and quality, we use pure, local ingredients such as olive oil, herbs and essential oils, combining them with modern manufacturing techniques.
In a location far from industrial interventions, we personally collect the purest herbs that thrive on the island, such as calendula, chamomile, lavender, sage, laurel, helichrysum, St. John's wort and many more, and with the INFUSION and MACERATION methods we enrich our soaps to acquire their soothing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
With deep respect for the environment and the local flora, our creations are completely natural, made with care and love. Each product reflects the unique properties of the herbs we collect – from aromatic notes to beneficial properties for the skin.
Our philosophy combines the past and the future: we respect traditional values, while at the same time incorporating innovative methods to ensure that each product offers high effectiveness and a luxurious feel. Our products are biodegradable, environmentally friendly, suitable for all skin types and offer a modern care experience with natural roots.
Thus, we also try to contribute to sustainable economic development and at the same time to the recognition and preservation of our beautiful island as a special and hospitable place that withstands the uncontrolled onslaught of the tourist industry.
